I strive to help couples effectively communicate with each other, feel more connected and learn to manage conflict. Couples therapy is a place to explore your relationship and learn the skills and tools to make it better. Couples Therapy can help with:

I utilize techniques gained from training on The Gottman Method, a scientific, evidenced based approach as well as attachment based theories to empower couples to repair their relationship. I help clients navigate areas in their relationship they would like to improve by helping clients gain awareness and learn skills/tools to create the kind of relationship they want for their marriage.
How Couples Therapy Works
Couples Therapy begins with meeting together to express concerns with the relationship. Through hearing your story, I will start to get a picture of what relationship challenges you are struggling with.
Next, I will meet with you individually to discuss goals and to gather more information on family history and background.
From here, we will develop a treatment plan, essentially a road map, designed to help you move forward to achieve your goals.
We will work together to move your relationship in the direction both of you envision it to be.
